Presenting The FLYER

The FLYER, the newest from ChicoYo-Yo Company.

This is our first foray into the more price-conscious world of metal yo-yos and you will be excited! We went back to the fundamentals and rethought the machining processes, finishing, and then some. Slightly undersized at 50.3mm in diameter, The FLYER fits into a very popular market at a great price. The FLYER uses what has become the de facto standard size large bearing, so the you can easily use the bearing of your preference. However, we supply The FLYER with the same high quality cleaned, lightly lubricated, stainless steel, ABEC rated, 10-ball bearing as all of our other yo-yos. This bearing provides long life and a characteristically quiet spin. Response is accomplished using custom cut silicone pads. We have these made in the USA out of high temperature silicone with a tenacious adhesive back. This combination provides long pad life, consistent and tight binds, and a groove deep enough for flowable silicone if that is your  preference.

For this introductory run, we chose an awesome two-tone marbled colorway. Rich purple anodize, with a black marble overlay. Shiny finish because it looks so good!

Other detail features of The FLYER include a slightly stepped deep-V profile for extra rim weight, a subtle undercut on the rim to assist with inner-ring grinds, a flat center and short axle to push more of the weight out onthe yo-yo which increases stability and spin times.
